Moroccan Spiced Apples
One of my daughter's favorites! This is a simple recipe and a great way to get your children to eat their daily apples. This mix also makes a great filling for apple pie recipes or apple crisp recipes.
1 apple (any kind), cut into cubes
1 TBSP Moroccan Spiced Sugar
Sprinkle the apple cubes with the sugar coating on all sides. Let stand for a few minutes before serving allowing the sugar to dissolve with the natural juices of the apples.
Moroccan Spiced Sugar can also be sprinkled onto bagels and cream cheese, hot buttered toast, sweet potato fries, hot cereal, yogurt, ice cream... The possibilities are endless!
