Hot Buttered Rum
Apple Cider or freshly pressed apple juice with pulp
Dark rum (optional)
Cinnamon sticks (optional)
In a saucepan, heat the apple cider, Moroccan Spiced Sugar and the butter.
Pre-heat 2 cups with hot water. To get cups extra hot, heat the cups with water in the microwave an extra 30 seconds.
When the apple cider starts bubbling, empty hot water from cups and add 1 oz. of rum per cup. Top with cider mixture. Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
Note: Rim the cups or glasses with Moroccan Spiced Sugar. Wet the rim with water or lemon wedge, dip the rim in Moroccan Spice Sugar to coat.
