Tomato and Bocconcini
An easy appetizer served as a traditional salad all over Italy. For slight twist, replace the Italian Bliss with our Magnifique Shallot-Pepper.
3 Tomatoes sliced thinly
Bocconcini cheese sliced thinly
French Grey Sea Salt
1 tsp. Italian Bliss
Freshly ground pepper (optional)
Lay tomatoes in a dish. Garnish with slices of Bocconcini. Sprinkle Italian Bliss onto tomatoes and cheese slices. Drizzle with olive oil. Finish with our French Grey Sea Salt and freshly ground black pepper.
For maximum flavor, tomatoes should be stored at room temperature at least one hour before serving.
For added crunch, make a crostini by placing on toasted bread buttered with herbed butters.
Serves 4 as an appetizer or side dish.
