Marrakesh Sweet Potatoes

large Sweet Potatoes or Yams (sliced 1/2 cm thick)

Olive oil

Moroccan Spiced Sugar (to taste)


Preheat oven at 375º.


Cover a baking sheet with parchment paper. Cover the sliced yams with olive oil making sure they are coated on all sides. Sprinkle top with Moroccan Spiced Sugar. Bake for 20-30 minutes, turn over and bake until golden.


Just before serving add a little more Moroccan Spiced Sugar.


Serves 4.


Note: This is a great side dish for Turkish Grilled Chicken.
