BBQ Pork Ribs
Yummy! Tasty ribs that fall off the bone, made with our succulent Sweet & Spicy BBQ Sauce. Making tender juicy ribs take time, however, the results are well worth it! These ribs can be made in advance and grilled just before serving.
Serve on a bed of lime and fennel salad.
Ingredients:
1 rack of Pork Back Ribs (approx. 2 lbs)
1 tsp. black peppercorns
1/2 cup of our Sweet & Spicy BBQ Sauce
Directions:
Cut the rack into 4 pcs. This should give you 4 pcs of about 3-4 ribs each.
Place the ribs in a pot and cover with water. Add a tsp. of black peppercorns. Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour. Take off heat and let sit for 1 hr.
Preheat oven at 300 degrees.
Remove the ribs from the water and place on a pan covered with foil. Baste both side with 1/4 cup of the Sweet and Spicy BBQ sauce. Cover with foil and bake for 1 1/2 hours at 300 degrees.
Remove from oven. At this point you can refrigerate the ribs to grill at a later time.
Preheat grill. When grill is hot, bring heat to low. Baste the underside of the ribs and place underside down onto the grill. Lower the lid. After 3-5 minutes, open the lid, baste the top side with the BBQ sauce and flip the ribs. Lower the lid and cook for a few more minutes.
Remove the ribs and serve.
